Vertical Building and Logistics
Corsair Cove’s central twist is vertical city building. The good build is not simply the densest build; it is the build where goods can still move between deposits, processors, storage, crew services, and piers.
Practical rule
Section titled “Practical rule”Put heavy chains on the same height layer whenever possible. Use cliff paths and advanced logistics for expansion, not as a substitute for good clustering.
What to prioritize
Section titled “What to prioritize”- Keep Road connections clean on flat ground.
- Use Cliff Path where buildings must sit on cliff faces.
- Use Barrel Run and Aerial Lift as advanced logistics tools when a vertical route becomes a repeated hauling lane.
- Put warehouses and service buildings close to the chain they support.
Warning signs
Section titled “Warning signs”- A processor has the right recipe but idles.
- A tavern or galley is built but crew still complain.
- Piers are supplied slowly after ships return.
- You solve every bottleneck by adding duplicate production instead of shortening routes.
