| Option 1 | Trade for Ink | Sailors like to write stories of their journeys and adventures directly in their skin. To do that, ink is required. Acquiring a few bottles of the black liquid was a good use of our Coin. |
| Option 2 | Trade for Tobacco | Tobacco has many uses, from Medicine to recreation. It’s a costly investment, but a smart one. |
| Option 3 | Trade for Wine | Quality Wine is not something we can produce on our island. This will be a nice change from tepache or beer. |
| Option 4 | Refuse to Trade | While some crewmates question the wisdom of letting these merchants leave without buying (or stealing) anything from them, we ultimately decide our Coin can be put to better use. |
