Gun Damage
Gun Damage is a ship stat in Corsair Cove.
Effect
Section titled “Effect”Gun Damage is the cannon-based attack stat. It is used by event actions that damage enemy health or crew from range.
Mechanics
Section titled “Mechanics”- Gun Damage is the ranged damage branch.
- Use it when event text points at cannon fire, forts, ships, bombardment, Arsenal support, or forcing a target open from range.
- It is usually the cleanest answer when the event asks you to break a defended objective before boarding.
Rules and formulas
Section titled “Rules and formulas”| Rule | Meaning |

| Core rule | The destructive power of the ship. Depending on actions during Events, this does damage against opponents’ Health or Crew. |
| Damage formula | Gun Damage contributes to event damage. Event tooltips use forms such as stat plus dice, stat times a multiplier plus dice, or stat divided before dice are applied. |
| Sea Legs | This is a Gun Damage Sea Legs buff. It temporarily increases your ship’s gun damage after completing an Event. Further bonuses can be obtained by completing additional Events. Will be removed when the ship docks at its own island. |

| Destroy | Destroy the Opponent. |
| Shoot | Destroy the enemy with the power of Gun Damage, and sustain the incoming damage via good, thick hull. |
