A quarrel between two pirates has spread to the rest of the community, splitting our people into factions. What should we do?

| Option 1 | Mediate a Compromise | This is exactly the kind of situation the Articles of Agreement were drafted for. We peruse the “pirate code” and find an article that could apply — with some creative interpretation — to the matter at hand. We make our case, and offer Coin to sweeten the deal. The feuding pirates shake on it. Peace is restored. |
| Option 2 | Stay Out of It | The feuding pirates decide to solve their dispute the old-fashioned way: with a duel to the death. Unfortunately, it doesn’t prevent some of their supporters to come to blows as well. Many lives are lost for what amounted to a personal matter. |
| Option 3 | Put Our Foot Down | We send a few enforcers to bring back order and prevent further escalation. Once the matter is settled, peace returns to the island. But while the divide is mended for now, a few prides remain wounded — the kind of wound that is likely to fester. |
