| Option 1 | Offer Gifts | We are sympathetic to the tribe’s plight and they appreciate our generosity. When they depart, our people send them off with lifted spirits. |
| Option 2 | Trade for Gold | If there’s one law ruling this world, it’s “quid pro quo”. If you want something, you need to give something. In exchange for our help, the tribe is eventually convinced to part with some artefacts and relics made of glittering gold. |
| Option 3 | Offer Them a Place on our Island | While most of the tribesfolk elect to continue their journey, for which we provide Rope and Sails, some of their warriors decide to stay with us, growing our ranks. There’s a little mistrust at first, but eventually they fit in. |
| Option 4 | Ignore Them | Just because they heard about us in some Tavern doesn’t mean we owe them anything. Our callousness saddens the tribesfolk, but they depart nonetheless. Some of our own people, however, are incensed by our behaviour. |
