| Option 1 | Welcome Them with a Feast! | ”Nuestros salvadores… Bedankt, vrienden… Qu’est-ce qu’on mange?” A surprising diversity of languages and dialects resonates across the harbour as the drifters come ashore. For now, we let them eat, drink and rest, although not necessarily in this order. Later, however, we’ll put them to work. |
| Option 2 | Take only the able-bodied! | There’s no such thing as free meal, even on a pirate island. Those who want to contribute to our community are welcome. The rest can go back from whence they came and learn to catch a few fishes. |
| Option 3 | Rob Them Blind! | They come to our island, expecting what? Three meals a day and nothing to pay? This lesson was much needed. |
| Option 4 | Send them away. | In other circumstances, we could have used extra hands — preferably healthy — but our island’s fragile balance is at stake. The disheartened drifters climb back onto their makeshift raft and disappear into the horizon. |
