Our island’s Rum reserves have mysteriously dwindled. Some suspect foul play. Shall we investigate?

| Option 1 | Buy Rum from the Golden Chain | The Golden Chain smugglers deliver the Rum caskets under the cover of the night. While many people remain suspicious, it is difficult to point fingers and throw accusations when you’re busy drinking. |
| Option 2 | Any Booze in a Storm | We manage to convince people to give our island’s Booze a chance, at least until the situation with Rum is resolved. Not everyone is happy about it, but it gives the time to catch the thief, putting the matter to rest once and for all. |
| Option 3 | Find a Scapegoat | As the saying goes, he that has an ill name is half hanged. It is not hard to redirect suspicions to some of the latest arrivals, and create some “evidence” that they may be the Rum thieves. We’re not too proud of ourselves when they’re pushed across the plank and sent to the sharks, but at least peace returns. |
